From the right to vote to the right to work in any profession, women have fought tirelessly for their rights and equality. 


    National Women's Day is also an opportunity to recognize the ongoing struggles that women face in achieving gender equality. 

    A chance to acknowledge the continued challenges women confront in attaining gender equality is provided by National Women's Day. Women continue to experience prejudice in a wide range of environments such as the workplace, politics, and society as a whole. Women are often paid less than men for the same work, and they are often underrepresented in positions of power and influence. National Women's Day is a time to reflect on these ongoing struggles and to recommit ourselves to the work of achieving gender equality.
