Last but probably not the least

Image
As the final bell rings, a sense of relief fills the air on the last day of being a Junior High School. No more homework, no more sleepless nights, no more last-minute reviews, and no more “matataranta dahil sa surprise quizzes”.  But, I know that this is not the end of our journey as a student. We will be facing alot of struggles as we take our steps towards our dream.  More homeworks; more sleepless nights; and  maybe, this quote “last-minute review” will become “every-minute review”.  However, let's just take this quote. This is what I've realized while I'm reminiscing all the memories in life.  “Sumabay ka sa agos nang buhay. SUMABAY huwang MAGPATANGAY”  Because for me, when you say “Magpatangay sa agos ng buhay” , you will just go with the flow. No efforts, no hardworks and you will not grow and learned from your mistakes. Para bang isa kang tao na nasa bangka, nagpatangay lang sa agos ng alon na walang kasiguraduhan kung saan ka dadalhin.  But wh...

Building ME

Image
10 years from now, I see myself gradually achieving my life's dreams. I have completed my studies and have become a Certified Public Accountant. I am slowly saving money for myself and my family to repay them for their hard work and sacrifices in supporting my education. At the age of 26, I have experienced a lot in life; some served as lessons, while others, let's just say, were "for experiences." However, I don't see myself entering a relationship at that age. Perhaps, I am still enjoying spoiling my cousins, especially since I am the eldest grandchild. I also plan to build my own house and purchase land. And 10 years from now, I know I am already starting to save money for these life plans. Maybe I will have some plans that will change over time. But as long as I can stand by them and make the right decisions in life, I won't change them. It's better to have a concrete plan so that I know the path I'm taking towards success. Courage above Fear

Image
They said that change can accompanied by fear and apprehension. We fear the potential risks, failure, or loss that change may entail. I've heard also that the fear of the unfamiliar can paralyze us and prevent us from embracing the beauty that lies on the other side of change.  But how can we adapt changes if we will always live in fear and in our “what if's”?  We should at least consider that change can be beautiful too because it signifies growth and progress. It is through change that we evolve as individuals and as a society. It's not wrong to feel the uneasiness or to overthink the outcomes of the changes, but we can try to start with ourself.  Just like me, back then I was also afraid of changes but I've overcome it. I step outside in my comfort zone and I allow myself to discover the things I want to know. And because of that, I was able to learn, adapt, and expand my perspectives. I was also able to know myself more, my talents, strengths, and passions.  Allo...

Aking Tahanan

Dear Mama,  On this special day, I want to take a moment to express my love and gratitude for all that you do. You have been a constant source of support and guidance in my life, and I am forever grateful for your unwavering love and care. You have been my guiding light, Mama. From the moment I took my first breath, you have been there, nurturing, comforting, and inspiring me every step of the way. Your love has been a constant, unbreakable bond that has shaped me into the person I am today. Your selflessness and dedication to our family is also something that has always amazed me. You have always put us first, no matter what, and have always been there for us through thick and thin. Ma, your strength and resilience inspire me every day, and I feel so lucky to have you as my mom. But beyond all the big things you do, it's the little things that touch my heart the most. The warm hugs, the reassuring smiles, and the simple acts of kindness that brighten even the darkest days. Y...

A big Salute for MANGGAGAWA'S

Image
Labor day is known as “Araw ng Manggagawa”, which means we celebrate and honors the contributions and achievements of workers who have helped build the country's economy and society. On this day, employees can take a break from their regular schedules and spend time with their loved ones.  It is also a time to reflect on the struggles that workers have faced in the past and the ongoing efforts to create a fair and just workplace for all. Labor Day is significant because it reminds us of the importance of the labor movement and the progress that has been made in protecting the rights of workers. And to show that we honor the hard work, dedication, and sacrifices of workers for our better society. And I believe that recognizing and valuing the contributions of workers is essential in promoting social justice, economic equality, and human dignity.  “Ako'y patuloy na gagawa, para sa ikaka-unlad ng bansa.” REFERENCES: https://pin.it/3PSmADb https://pin.it/2oCfaVm https://pin.it/5fT...

Work Hard; Stay Focused; Make it Happen

Creating a webpage using HTML frameset was a new experience for me. I found it interesting how frameset allows you to divide the browser window into multiple sections, each containing separate HTML documents. I've learned also that there are two types of lists in HTML: ordered and unordered. Ordered lists are created using the 'ol' tag, while unordered lists are created using the 'ul' tag. Within each list, individual list items are defined using the 'li' tag. This quarter gave me a lot of lesson in life. Just like when we had our first activity on HTML Frameset. At first, I had a hard time in identifying the tags that I should use but with the help of my classmates and with the guidance of Mrs. Evelyn Vera Cruz, I was able to finish all my activities. And here I proved that, it is really important to ask some help and guidance sometimes, because this is also where we can learn and share our thoughts to others.  I learned also that It is worth putting in the...

His will. His way. My Faith

Holy Week is a significant event in the Christian calendar that commemorates the last week of Jesus Christ's life, including his crucifixion and resurrection. This week is also known as Passion Week or Easter Week and is observed by millions of Christians worldwide. The holy week begins with Palm Sunday, which marks Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem. We went to San Vicente church to attend this sacred event and we also bought palm leaves and we carry them in a procession, signifying our belief in Jesus Christ as the King of Kings. Jesus cleaned the temple the following day, which is why it is known as Holy Monday. The Bible claims that Jesus was enraged by the temple's money changers and toppled their tables, declaring that the temple was intended to be a place of prayer. Jesus proceeded to give lessons in the temple on Holy Tuesday, addressing the Pharisees and Sadducees who questioned his authority. Jesus used parables to respond to their questions and discussed the e...
